LMS608’s powerful configuration capabilities enable rapid setup of complex and extensive touring, event and installed
Designed and proven to work uncompromisingly and continuously around the clock, it is the perfect complement to any audio installation involving passive systems. LMS processors include a wide range of factory presets for various configurations of Amate Audio passive loudspeaker systems.

Yes. Open DSPLink, then unlock de unit using the administrator password (Ad_min). DSPLink will let you access and edit the outputs OUT1-8. Once the desired preset is loaded, you can tune it freely. When you are done just save the customised preset in one of the free memories.
Just enter the administrator password (Ad_min) to gain access to the unit without losing all the previous work.
One of the main features of a digital signal processor (DSP) are the limiters. Using them we can guarantee that the maximum signal input in the amplifiers is below a threshold. Usually, this threshold is set just below the mechanical drive limit of the speakers, or a maximum SPL set by the application. If the threshold is set to low, the performance of the system is wasted away. If set too high, the speakers might be damaged.
For applications where all the electronics in the signal chain are our own Amate Audio systems, we developed an app with lab parameters that let us to configure the limiters so you can get 100% of system performance without compromising the safety of the loudspeakers. The application can be found in the following link: LimCal.
The required bandwidth between the LMS608 and de PC is higher than for the LMS206, for this reason we recommend using the RJ-45 Ethernet connection in a dedicated network, without a Firewall. The USB-B port of the LMS608 is present just for compatibility with legacy systems.
Although in the former years the Digital Signal Processing state of the art improved quickly, not always is a must to install a DSP. All our Amate Audio systems are launched highly calibrated after a deep R+D process that aims to easily solve the different applications of our product range. Nevertheless, using an external DSP would be necessary in the following cases:
If you are still not sure about getting a DSP, you can ask to our Application Engineers.
